Working with one of our leading financial clients, this role calls for a Manager – Newcomer to Canada Segment who will lead the design and execution of end-to-end strategies to attract, engage, and retain newcomer clients. The successful candidate will develop compelling value propositions, manage sponsorships and events, and partner with internal teams across product, marketing, risk, and analytics to bring the segment’s strategy to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling value propositions tailored to newcomer customers, aligning with customer needs, profitability goals, and market trends.
  • Evaluate and report on competitor group banking programs, identifying opportunities to enhance positioning and value.
  • Identify and build strategic partnerships that expand the segment’s reach and provide meaningful value to customers.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Analytics, and Customer Care to drive customer acquisition, product adoption, and retention through data-driven insights.
  • Lead key projects and initiatives that advance growth in the New to Canada segment.
  • Identify best-in-class communication and cross-sell practices to inform strategy and improve engagement.
  • Execute and oversee sponsorships and events targeting newcomers, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners for seamless delivery.
  • Translate analytics and performance data into actionable insights and recommendations to improve customer outcomes.
  • Monitor and forecast program performance, advocating for resource prioritization where necessary.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to develop creative content and communication assets that strengthen client relationships.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the newcomer segment program.
  • Communicate program strategy, outcomes, and insights to senior stakeholders and leadership.

Desired Skill Set:

  • 5–7 years of experience in Strategy, Consulting, or Product Management roles, preferably within the banking or customer-focused industries.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing customer strategies and value propositions across multiple business functions.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, market research, and analytics.
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills to assess data, identify insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a track record of driving change and collaboration.
  • Master’s degree (MBA preferred).

  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and results-driven with a commitment to excellence.
