Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Manual QA Tester – AEM/NVDA. This Senior QA Analyst position involves supporting a major 200+ page rebranding project for Simplii Bank, focusing on content testing, functionality, graphics, and layout across digital platforms. You will be integral to a newly formed QA pod, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment to ensure flawless execution and delivery.
Pay rate range (CAD): $32.61/hr – $39.13/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for digital platforms, ensuring compliance with quality standards and SLAs
- Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to allocate QA resources effectively for project initiatives
- Provide clear, timely updates and analysis to QA Leads, project stakeholders, and support teams
- Conduct root cause analysis on issues and outages, documenting findings and recommending solutions
- Manage build approvals, testing, and releases to staging and production environments
- Support overtime efforts as needed to meet project deadlines
- Continuously review and improve QA processes, share best practices, and update documentation in team repositories
- Ensure adherence to accessibility standards, including proficiency with NVDA and other assistive technologies
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-3 years of manual QA testing experience in digital platforms
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for test management and documentation
- 1+ year experience with accessibility testing, specifically NVDA
- Strong communication and planning skills, with the ability to guide and train team members
- Ability to represent QA in cross-team meetings and convey technical findings clearly
Nice to Have
- Experience with AEM Headless CMS or other digital content management systems
- Knowledge of web graphics, layout design, and content management environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative tools
- Soft skills including receptiveness to feedback and a collaborative attitude
