Network Analyst – NOC

Working with one of our top financial institutions, this role calls for a Network Analyst – NOC with hands-on experience in network monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting Cisco routing and switching environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving network operations, responding to incidents, and ensuring seamless connectivity for business-critical systems.
Responsibilities:

Provide 24/7 frontline operational support for TD’s enterprise network, ensuring stability and availability of all network components.

Monitor, identify, and troubleshoot incidents involving routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers using various monitoring tools.

Manage day-to-day deliverables and ensure smooth handover between shifts through detailed documentation.

Escalate incidents to Level 2/3 teams or external vendors as necessary while maintaining ownership until resolution.

Participate in incident calls (P2/P3) and collaborate closely with internal support teams and vendors.

Ensure adherence to NOC processes including change, incident, and problem management workflows.

Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual intervention.

Maintain and update technical documentation, Method of Procedures (MoPs), and knowledge base articles.

Support training and mentorship of new team members and provide feedback on process enhancements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (EES/OCG) to ensure consistent and effective operational performance.
Must Have:
-
3+ years of hands-on Network Analyst experience in a production or NOC environment.

CCNP (Routing & Switching) or CCNA certification (minimum 5 years of troubleshooting experience if CCNA certified).

3+ years of practical experience with Cisco routers and switches.

Proven troubleshooting and break-fix experience in a live network operations environment.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and telecommunications connectivity concepts.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Nice to Have:
-
Hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela SDWAN or Aruba SDWAN solutions.

Working knowledge of Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, and VMware NSX.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SevOne, Infoblox, ExtraHop, and ThousandEyes.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and certifications such as CCDP or ITIL Foundation.
