Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Payments Processing Analyst – Banking (Credit/Debit Cards). This position involves handling core transaction processing activities, reconciliations, and ensuring operational efficiency within a collaborative team environment, offering a valuable experience in a leading financial institution.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $24.88/hr
Responsibilities
- Process payments, debit, and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile accounts, wires, and other financial activities to ensure data integrity
- Support transaction processing for various banking products, including cash and wire transfers
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and service level agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly
- Complete assigned operational tasks within established deadlines
- Support process improvement initiatives and adapt to new system updates or procedures
- Ensure data security and confidentiality for all customer and transaction information
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-4 years of banking or financial services experience
- Background in accounting, reconciliation, and transaction processing
- Experience managing debit and credit transactions, wires, and reconciliations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle high volumes of work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with global platforms is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail
- Understanding of banking products such as loans, deposits, swaps, and foreign exchange (FX) products
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working within a banking operations environment
- Knowledge of MM and FX products including options, forwards, and foreign exchange transactions
- Familiarity with Global and WSS platforms
- Experience with process improvement and technology adaptation in banking operations
