PeopleSoft Administrator/Oracle & SQL/Upgrades
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator with strong infrastructure expertise to support client’s Finance technology ecosystem. In this role, you will provide technical stewardship for applications that feed data into core financial systems, ensuring accurate General Ledger (GL) processing and seamless integration of regulatory data. You will also collaborate closely with teams responsible for CDIC and other regulatory reporting to maintain compliance, data quality, and operational stability.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a PeopleSoft Administrator/Oracle & SQL/Upgrades who can provide expert technical leadership throughout a large-scale PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade. The ideal candidate will bring deep PeopleSoft administration experience, strong Oracle and SQL expertise, and the ability to guide infrastructure activities while ensuring data integrity, system reliability, and seamless integration across finance and regulatory reporting environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end infrastructure and technical support for financial applications integrated with PeopleSoft.
- Ensure accurate GL processing and support regulatory data integrations.
- Collaborate with Finance, CDIC reporting, and regulatory technology teams to maintain compliance and data integrity.
- Lead infrastructure planning, execution, and troubleshooting for the PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade.
- Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of Oracle databases.
- Oversee PeopleSoft security, backup, recovery, and environment management.
- Assist with future enhancement phases following the 9.2 upgrade.
Desired Skill Set:
- 8–10 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator with strong infrastructure expertise.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working on PeopleSoft upgrades.
- 7–8 years of Oracle database management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft security, backup, and recovery best practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Cobol.
- PeopleSoft and Oracle certifications.
- Previous technical team lead experience.
