Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Power Apps Developer-Banking. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, including compilers and network distribution tools, to support complex computing applications. Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr – $86.96/hr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test operating system-level software, including compilers and network distribution applications
- Modify and maintain existing databases and database management systems
- Write and specify logical and physical database descriptions and identifiers to database management systems
- Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development and define project scope and limitations
- Review project requests to assess user needs, estimating time and resources required
- Troubleshoot system issues and make necessary modifications to resolve problems
- Perform requirements analysis, functional specification authoring, and contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Skill-Set
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field
- 2 to 4 years of software development experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving aptitude and customer service orientation
- Effective time management and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of full software development lifecycle processes
- Experience with XML, Java, JSP, and other relevant software tools
- Familiarity with database development software such as SQL and Visual Basic
Nice to Have
- Experience with operating systems-level software development
- Knowledge of compilers and network distribution systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Familiarity with project estimation and planning
