Program Manager – Testing

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our leading financial clients, overseeing the end-to-end testing strategy and execution for a major enterprise transformation initiative.
Working with one of our top financial institutions, this role calls for a Program Manager – Testing to lead QA strategy, planning, and execution for multiple workstreams within a high-impact, high-complexity strategic program. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving testing excellence across SIT, UAT, PAT, and E2E phases, ensuring delivery quality and stakeholder alignment throughout all stages of the program.
Responsibilities:

Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive Test Strategy encompassing SIT, UAT, PAT, and E2E testing.

Partner with Testing Managers and Leads across multiple workstreams to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in testing practices.

Manage and coordinate end-to-end testing activities focused on business processes, ensuring test coverage and traceability across systems.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with Business and Technology stakeholders to ensure seamless communication, alignment, and issue resolution.

Develop and present clear, concise QA dashboards and testing summaries for senior management and stakeholders.

Oversee testing schedules, risk management, defect triage, and quality metrics to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Influence and guide testing resources in a matrix environment, driving accountability and collaboration across diverse teams.

Apply creative problem-solving to navigate ambiguity, connect cross-functional dependencies, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Support automation and process optimization initiatives to enhance test efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain oversight of test planning, execution progress, and issue management throughout the program lifecycle.
Must Have:

8+ years of experience in software development testing, automation, and software process improvement.

Expert-level understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (8+ years).

Proven experience working in both Waterfall and Agile testing environments, including hands-on experience with HP ALM.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to address issues and conflicts during QA testing cycles.

8–10 years of experience successfully running QA for large, strategic enterprise programs.
Nice to Have:

PMP certification or equivalent project management accreditation.

Knowledge of Cheque Processing systems (e.g., Day 1, Day 2, RDC).

Previous retail banking experience with exposure to large-scale financial systems.
