Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of large-scale IT projects within the banking sector, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate communication across internal teams and external vendors to align project goals and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure adherence to organizational processes and standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and scope to meet business objectives.
- Conduct status meetings, prepare reports, and present updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Support the onboarding process and integrate project teams effectively into the project lifecycle.
Desired Skill-Set
- 8+ years of managing large and complex IT projects, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of full project lifecycle development, from initiation to closure.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, Confluence, JIRA, and PowerPoint for effective tracking and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Stakeholder management expertise with the ability to manage expectations and foster collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
Nice to Have
- Experience working within a banking or financial institution.
- PMP certification or other recognized project management credentials.
- Prior involvement in payment processing projects.
- Experience with Clarity project management software.
