Project Manager – Treasury and Capital Markets

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Manager – Treasury and Capital Markets who will be responsible for overseeing and managing critical treasury projects. The successful candidate will build and manage schedules, develop financial plans, and lead forecasting activities to ensure strategic alignment with business objectives. This role requires strong business acumen in treasury and capital markets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and engage with senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of treasury and capital market projects.
- Build and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones and deliverables are clearly defined and met.
- Develop comprehensive financial plans and conduct accurate forecasting to support business initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and business partners to align project goals with overall business strategies.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, slide decks, and financial summaries to support strategic decision-making.
- Proactively identify and resolve conflicts, ensuring smooth collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project timelines and objectives.
- Drive reporting and communication with senior leadership and executive sponsors.
- Ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Skill Set:
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, including schedule building, financial planning, and forecasting.
- Strong business understanding of treasury and capital markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Exceptional executive communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong conflict management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Clarity, Jira, and Confluence tools.
- PMP certification.
- Financial industry background with exposure to treasury transformation initiatives.
