QA Analyst – Manual & Accessibility Testing
Are you an experienced QA Analyst with strong manual testing skills and a solid understanding of digital accessibility standards? This role offers the opportunity to support a major Simplii Bank rebranding initiative, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality digital experiences across 200+ pre-sign-on pages. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to process improvements, and play a key role in delivering accurate, accessible, and error-free content.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a QA Analyst – Manual & Accessibility Testing who will perform manual content validation, accessibility testing, documentation reviews, and build approvals while partnering closely with design, development, and publishing teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage testing activities across multiple digital assets in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual content testing across pre-sign-on pages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with design specifications.
- Validate that mockups, copy decks, and live pages are aligned and correctly implemented.
- Identify, document, and report discrepancies across content, design, and published assets.
- Conduct accessibility testing—including NVDA screen reader validation—to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Create comprehensive test plans and execute test cases for digital content releases.
- Provide build status updates, approvals, and release readiness feedback to stakeholders.
- Perform root cause analysis to isolate issues related to business applications or processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support timely deployments.
- Maintain detailed testing documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing within Agile and publishing teams.
- Support schedule management, ensuring SLAs are met and defects are addressed promptly.
- Participate in team meetings, share insights, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Skill Set:
- 2–3 years of QA experience, with strong manual testing expertise.
- 1+ year of accessibility testing experience, including hands-on use of NVDA.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of urgency.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
- Knowledge of Headless CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with digital publishing workflows or large-scale content updates.
