Recruiter – Business Banking

This opportunity allows you to support one of Canada’s leading financial institutions by driving full-cycle recruitment for client’s Canadian Business Banking portfolio.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Recruiter – Business Banking who will act as a trusted Talent Acquisition Partner, manage end-to-end recruitment, build strong sourcing strategies, and influence hiring decisions through deep market knowledge. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter with strong communication, advisory skills, and the ability to build relationships at all levels—including VPs and executives.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Talent Acquisition Partner for the Canadian Business Banking portfolio, advising business leaders on hiring strategies and talent decisions.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer management and candidate onboarding.
- Develop and execute innovative, data-driven sourcing strategies to target active and passive talent for mid- to senior-level roles.
- Partner closely with stakeholders, HR teams, and sourcing specialists to understand current and future talent needs.
- Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize strategies and guide hiring managers.
- Create a best-in-class Hiring Manager and Candidate Experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain strong talent networks to promote client’s brand in the marketplace.
- Provide expert advisory and consultation on recruitment processes, market insights, and sourcing approaches.
Desired Skill Set:
- 5–7 years of recruitment experience (flexible), with exposure to proactive, high-volume, or corporate recruiting environments.
- Experience recruiting in large corporations or agency environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Strong critical thinking, advisory, and consultative skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and senior-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence decisions and provide strategic talent insights.
Nice to Have:
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Suite).
- Experience with Workday (HRIS/ATS).
- Prior recruitment experience in commercial or business banking or revenue-generating roles.
- Experience interacting with VPs and executives regarding hiring processes and standards.
