Risk Analyst-AML

Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Risk Analyst – AML who will review transactions, analyze customer profiles, identify anomalies, and support enhanced due diligence activities. This is an ideal role for new graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to learn, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to make a meaningful impact on financial crime prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Review transactions and customer activities to identify unusual patterns or potential high-risk behaviors.
- Conduct adjudications, analysis, and investigations of queue-based cases, including recommendations for account actions where appropriate.
- Gather and analyze evidence or data to support AML, Sanctions, ABAC, or digital investigations.
- Prioritize incoming case requests in a high-volume investigative environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal enhanced due diligence requirements.
- Support remediation of customer profiles, including those with multiple products or complex histories.
Desired Skill Set:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office and PC-based applications.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., formulas, sorting/filtering, data handling).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or financial crime investigations.
- Knowledge of KYC processes and regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience in banking or financial services.
- Relevant certifications such as CSCS or ACAMS.
