Salesforce BSA
Are you an experienced Salesforce Business Systems Analyst with deep platform expertise and the ability to bridge complex business needs with scalable Salesforce solutions? This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a major financial institution, supporting enterprise-level Salesforce environments while partnering closely with product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Salesforce BSA who will translate business requirements into actionable Salesforce solutions, optimize existing functionality, and ensure alignment across front-line, compliance, and advisory user groups. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with hands-on Salesforce experience, especially within large banking environments.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product owners to gather and translate business requirements into Salesforce-based solutions.
- Participate in functional discussions and provide high-level solution approaches and recommendations.
- Document all requirements, flows, implementations, permission changes, and configurations with clarity and audit-ready detail.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Optimize and enhance existing Salesforce capabilities—screen flows, referrals, security/permissions, and related configurations.
- Recommend solutions that maximize out-of-the-box features and minimize unnecessary custom code.
- Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, translating Salesforce limitations or governor constraints into clear business language.
- Review existing processes, triggers, and flows to ensure compatibility with evolving business needs.
- Actively contribute in meetings, offering insights, identifying impacts, and driving discussions toward solutions.
Desired Skill Set:
- Deep Salesforce platform experience (security, visibility models, permission sets, platform constraints).
- Hands-on banking experience with strong understanding of advisor, compliance, and front-line user functions.
- Excellent communication skills—able to articulate technical constraints and business impacts clearly.
- Strong documentation skills: requirements, flows, configurations, and implementation notes.
- Proven ability to enhance and optimize existing Salesforce features, not just support new builds.
Nice to Have:
- Salesforce certifications (optional but beneficial).
- Experience working in Salesforce environments at large scale (20,000+ users).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem impacts across Lines of Business (permissions, user groups, overlapping functionality).
