Senior Backend Java Developer/Big Data Developer

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role requires a Senior Backend Java Developer/Big Data Developer who will have expertise in Spring Boot, Spark Databricks, and REST API. This ideal candidate will have strong scripting skills and experience working in cloud environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based applications while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using Spring Boot
- Work with Data Lakehouse architectures to optimize data processing and storage.
- Implement and manage Spark Databricks pipelines for data processing.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Linux or PowerShell for automation and system management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions
- Proficient with SDLC knowledge
- Strong understanding of Python syntax, data types, control structures, functions, and error handling
Desired Skill Set:
- 7 years of experience in Java 8
- 7 years of expertise in Java SpringBoot
- 7 years of experience with REST API
- 3 years of experience with Python
- 3 years of experience with PowerShell
- 3 years of experience with Linux
- 3 years of experience with Azure and Databricks Pyspark
Nice To Have:
- Experience with Autosys
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and Azure EventHub experiences
- Experience with DataDog
