Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Digital Banking/Customer Platforms) who can navigate complex deliverables across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong stakeholder management skills, supporting various initiatives within a dynamic banking environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr – $86.96/hr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and define clear business requirements for banking applications and platforms.
- Support 2-3 projects simultaneously, ensuring progress aligns with business objectives and timelines.
- Identify gaps in requirements and work proactively to address ambiguities or missing information.
- Take ownership of requirements from inception to implementation with a product owner mindset.
- Write and refine user stories, ensuring clarity and completeness for development teams.
- Engage with stakeholders, including banking branch users, financial advisors, and digital platform users, to understand their needs and facilitate effective communication.
- Support projects involving APIs, data structures, forms, and compliance factors, especially those similar to customer onboarding platforms such as NN.
- Demonstrate leadership by stepping into roles as needed, guiding teams without direct supervision.
- Maintain organized documentation and support Agile practices within a pod structure.
- Assist in prioritizing work and managing deliverables across multiple initiatives.
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst within banking or financial services.
- Proven expertise in supporting large-scale projects with complex deliverables.
- Extensive experience in Agile methodologies and supporting multiple projects or pods.
- Strong requirements gathering skills for complex applications, especially those involving APIs, data structures, and compliance.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and demonstrating leadership.
- Experience with customer-facing mobile/web applications, particularly in banking or financial services.
- Knowledge of banking products such as credit cards, mortgages, and account onboarding platforms.
- CSPO certification is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent priorities.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with APIs and integration points within banking platforms.
- Familiarity with platforms similar to Needs Navigator or onboarding systems for new customers.
- Prior experience in a pod-based Agile environment.
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams.
