Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Data Entry Clerk-Banking . This position involves providing essential clerical support, managing databases, verifying transactions, and assisting in operational processes. The role is based on-site in Montreal, QC, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key business functions within a dynamic team.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $21.74/hr
Responsibilities
- Provide general office support and clerical tasks to facilitate business operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine issues, maintaining audit trails and escalating non-routine problems.
- Support change management activities, focusing on execution and sustainability.
- Take immediate action on serious infractions of policies or regulations.
- Administer and maintain filing systems for business and operational reports, forms, and documentation.
- Create, update, and manage data entries within databases.
- Track, verify, and process various transactions.
- Resolve or escalate invoice discrepancies according to established procedures.
- Manage Service Level Agreements to ensure standards are met.
Desired Skill-Set
- Strong knowledge of key products, services, processes, and controls within the business unit.
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and track multiple initiatives efficiently.
- Good understanding of risk and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficient in office equipment including photocopiers, computers, and printers.
- Solid understanding of routine procedures and processes of the work team.
- Experience with transactional documentation, workflow prioritization, and processing deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective collaboration and team skills.
