Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior .NET Azure Developer – Enterprise Applications & Workflow (Capital Markets). This position involves leading the core development of a custom structured notes application within a dynamic global derivatives technology team. The successful candidate will focus on building scalable APIs and workflows in a fully Azure-cloud environment, translating complex business requirements into reliable, high-performance solutions.
Pay rate range (CAD): $70.00/hr – $80.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise-grade applications using C# and .NET framework.
- Design, build, and integrate REST APIs and backend services supporting intricate business workflows.
- Implement and maintain application functionality within an Azure environment, including Azure Functions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand, translate, and implement detailed business requirements.
- Develop workflow components that accurately reflect complex business rules and processes.
- Optimize SQL/Azure SQL database queries and data access layers.
- Conduct end-to-end troubleshooting, testing, and refinement of developed application components.
- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and workflow procedures.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and agile project planning sessions.
- Work closely with architects and senior developers to ensure compliance with best practices.
Desired Skill-Set
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET development.
- Proven expertise developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience implementing complex business workflows and rules.
- Extensive experience working within Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Azure SQL frameworks.
- Ability to understand and implement complex application flows.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective collaboration skills and experience working within a development team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with React and JavaScript for UI collaboration.
- Knowledge of enterprise workflow tools or custom workflow solutions.
- Prior experience in financial services or capital markets.
- Familiarity with complex financial products and documentation requirements.
