Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Portfolio Strategy Manager – Cybersecurity. This position involves leading strategic planning, portfolio governance, and overseeing cybersecurity initiatives within a large enterprise environment. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive security projects, ensure alignment with organizational priorities, and deliver impactful solutions that enhance the organization’s security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead portfolio planning, governance, and execution for Cyber Security initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain business cases, investment proposals, and financial models to support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives, allocate funding, and optimize investments.
  • Create executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations on portfolio health, financials, risks, and recommendations.
  • Establish governance frameworks, reporting cadence, and performance metrics for Cyber Security projects.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and conflicting priorities across initiatives.
  • Translate organizational goals into actionable portfolio roadmaps and project plans.
  • Provide strategic insights to improve operational efficiency and portfolio performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels, including executive management.
  • Adapt swiftly to evolving priorities within a dynamic, enterprise-scale environment.

Desired Skill-Set

  • 10+ years of Portfolio, Program, or Project Management experience, ideally within large enterprise settings.
  • At least 5 years of experience working within a Cyber Security organization.
  • Proven expertise in developing business cases, investment proposals, and financial planning.
  • Demonstrated ability in portfolio governance, strategic planning, and roadmap management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership.
  • Ability to prepare executive presentations, portfolio reports, and governance materials.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience supporting Cyber Security strategy and portfolio planning.
  • Familiarity with audit, regulatory, or compliance initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience using Glasswing platform.
  • Previous work experience in the financial services sector.
