Senior Project Manager – Banking

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Project Manager – Banking who will take end-to-end ownership of a critical online banking program for Business (OLBB), driving delivery through a busy, sprint-based environment and coordinating across multiple technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned IT projects with clear scope, outcomes, and timelines
- Drive project execution using an Agile/Waterfall hybrid delivery approach
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with multiple technology teams delivering components of the overall program
- Plan, coordinate, and manage monthly deliverables in a fast-paced implementation schedule
- Proactively surface risks, remove blockers, and anticipate escalations before they impact outcomes
- Maintain project rigor across time, cost, and quality commitments
- Oversee governance controls and ensure deliverables meet performance, quality, and compliance expectations
- Partner with communications stakeholders to support change and communications planning
- Manage user groups, internal teams, and external consultants, vendors, and contractors
Desired Skill-Set
- 8+ years of experience in IT project management
- Proven ability to run technology project delivery (not a scrum master) with strong end-to-end accountability
- Experience in Agile environments (with comfort working in an Agile/Waterfall hybrid model)
- Strong cross-functional problem-solving mindset and quick decision-making under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple moving parts across several technology teams
- Excellent communication skills, including understanding nuance and driving alignment
- Track record of managing project scope while meeting time, cost, and quality parameters
- Experience overseeing governance, deliverable quality, and compliance expectations
- PMP designation (Project Management Institute)
