Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Technical Business Analyst – Securitisation & Capital Markets. This position involves overseeing delivery continuity and addressing execution risks across key initiatives within the Securitization portfolio, including regulatory compliance and payment integration projects. The role offers an opportunity to work on complex financial solutions and collaborate with diverse teams to drive impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Front Office, Finance, Market Risk, Middle Office, Back Office, and technology groups
- Gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into new reporting and application features
- Elicit, document, and prioritize business needs, risks, and scope
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in
- Analyze current processes, define future state, and identify gaps and impacts
- Validate solutions and testing strategies to ensure they meet business objectives
- Address production issues and file errors through effective troubleshooting
- Coordinate with downstream and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Business Analyst role within financial services
- Deep understanding of requirements and design methodologies; detail-oriented and analytical
- Experience with data modelling, static data, and data repositories
- Proven ability to review and support solution design and project planning
- Strong Capital Markets knowledge, particularly in MBS, Securitization, or Fixed Income, with a relevant degree (BS/BA, MBA, or MS in computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, or business)
- Proficiency in SQL/Oracle for creating and querying tables and optimizing queries
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly as needed
- Proven track record in retail mortgage or related fast-paced financial roles
- Proactive, curious mindset with enthusiasm for engaging in multiple projects and tools
- Hands-on experience with securitization tools, with the ability to effectively communicate technical and business insights
- Demonstrates professionalism and confidence in stakeholder interactions, translating business needs into clear solutions
- Demonstrated commitment through roles with significant tenure
