Senior UX/UI Designer (Figma, UX Strategy, Design Systems)

Working with one of our leading digital clients, this role calls for a Senior UX/UI Designer (Figma, UX Strategy, Design Systems) who combines creativity with analytical thinking. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in designing complex B2B interfaces, strong collaboration skills with front-end teams, and a passion for crafting elegant, user-centered designs for advanced media workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end UX/UI design for AI Studio and related B2B tools.
- Translate complex workflows into simple, elegant, and consistent user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure design fidelity and scalability.
- Conduct user testing, feedback sessions, and rapid prototyping to validate designs.
- Maintain and evolve modular design systems and reusable UI components.
- Participate in design sprints, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions to ideate solutions.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility and responsive web design best practices.
Desired Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 7+ years of UX/UI design experience (strong intermediate candidates with growth potential also considered).
- Expertise in Figma, Photoshop, and other modern design tools.
- Strong understanding of B2B web applications, CMS-like interfaces, and API-driven environments.
- Proven ability to simplify and optimize complex, data-heavy user flows.
- Strong visual design sensibility with attention to hierarchy, typography, and interaction design.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working with AI-powered design tools or features.
- Background in graphic design, media production, or interactive tools.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Loblaw Digital, or other large-scale product ecosystems.
