Are you an experienced Business Systems Analyst with deep digital banking expertise and a strong ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements? This opportunity allows you to lead large-scale digital banking initiatives focused on online and mobile banking, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver modern, client-centric digital experiences.

Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst/Digital Banking who can support end-to-end project delivery—from requirement gathering through solution design, testing support, and implementation. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience within Financial Institutions, strong technical acumen, advanced documentation skills, and the ability to guide teams within both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements for digital banking initiatives.
  • Facilitate solution design discussions and ensure clarity between business needs and technical implementation.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical artifacts, including user stories, acceptance criteria, use case activity diagrams, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Application Consultants to ensure solutions meet business goals, architectural standards, and system constraints.
  • Lead end-to-end project implementation across digital channels, supporting development, QA, UAT, and deployment activities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective problem resolution across technology and business teams.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for online and mobile banking platforms, ensuring alignment with digital strategy and regulatory expectations.
  • Support multiple PODs and project streams focused on AI-driven initiatives, new digital capabilities, and enhancements across the client’s digital banking ecosystem.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure clear, professional communication across all levels.

Desired Skill Set:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within a Financial Institution (mandatory).
  • Strong experience with Confluence, JIRA, MS Teams, and ALM.
  • Expertise in creating use case activity diagrams, user stories, scenarios, and acceptance criteria for Dev/QA teams.
  • Previous mobile banking experience.
  • Technical acumen with exposure to APIs, digital banking systems, and solution analysis.
  • Background in computer science or technical education.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate professional business requirements into clear, structured technical specifications.

Nice to Have:

  • Willingness to convert to Full-Time employment.
  • Previous FI experience.
  • CBAP certification.
  • Experience working on AI or machine-learning digital projects.
