Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Endpoint Security Specialist (Windows & AppLocker) who will play a critical role in advancing the Endpoint Security Governance program. The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise in Windows and endpoint security, oversee enterprise-wide controls, and contribute to the development of security governance standards and processes. This individual will also act as a trusted advisor to technology and business teams, ensuring secure design, implementation, and operation of endpoint environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, monitor, and enforce enterprise frameworks, methodologies, and technology controls for endpoint security.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to business and technology teams on the design and implementation of security controls.
  • Support after-hours security incident response and change monitoring reviews when required.
  • Participate in enterprise and cross-functional initiatives, identifying risk and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Review endpoint-related security requests and exceptions to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Develop and evolve endpoint security governance policies, standards, and processes.
  • Investigate information security incidents and recommend remediation or prevention mechanisms.
  • Draft technical security specifications (TSS) and contribute to process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay current with emerging endpoint security trends, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Educate clients and stakeholders to foster a risk-aware culture.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Deep subject matter expertise in Windows operating environments.
  • Strong understanding of AppLocker: configuration, deployment, and enforcement.
  • Advanced technical research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write and enforce technical security specifications and governance documentation.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Jira for tracking tickets.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with change management processes.
