Are you an experienced Project Control professional with strong financial management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance skills? This long-term opportunity offers a chance to support a high-visibility Compliance portfolio within one of our top financial clients, ensuring disciplined project execution across regulatory and technology initiatives.

Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Sr. Project Control Officer – Compliance Portfolio who will oversee RAID management, financial tracking, reporting, schedule oversight, and delivery governance across a portfolio of compliance-related projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep PCO expertise, strong communication skills, and proven experience supporting large, complex programs in a financial or regulatory environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain RAID logs, ensuring accurate ingestion and ongoing currency of risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
  • Prepare and consolidate reporting materials including weekly status reports, executive steering committee decks, and ad-hoc updates.
  • Track interdependencies across internal project workstreams as well as external teams to ensure visibility and alignment.
  • Oversee financial management activities such as monthly cost forecasting, variance analysis, tracking actual spend, vendor accruals, and invoice processing.
  • Maintain project change control processes by managing PCR lists and completing related tasks and follow-ups.
  • Support artifact management by organizing, indexing, and maintaining project documentation; track exceptions/exemptions and assist during compliance or delivery assurance reviews.
  • Monitor project schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables, and escalate slippages or risks to leadership as required.
  • Partner closely with the AVP of Compliance Delivery and multiple stakeholders across a 15+ member team to ensure consistent delivery within client’s project governance standards.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Clarity for project tracking and reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, financial tracking, reporting automation).
  • Strong understanding of project methodologies: PDLC, Agile, and Hybrid.
  • Demonstrated experience performing core PCO activities: schedule management, RAID management, financial reporting, and change control.
  • Experience supporting large-scale project or program delivery in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with 100% interaction expected.
  • Strong financial management capabilities and proven Sr. PCO-level execution.
  • 8+ years of experience in Project Control or PMO roles.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Regulatory project exposure or compliance-related domain experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Project.
  • Previous experience within large banking or financial institutions.
