Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a UI Designer – Banking. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the visual and interaction design for a major rebranding initiative, contributing to the future of digital banking experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define and promote a compelling vision for the company’s digital standards and design system within the banking sector.
  • Develop and maintain visual design frameworks aligned with the company’s brand refresh and digital experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into engaging, user-centered UI designs.
  • Lead design reviews, iterate based on feedback, and ensure quality across all deliverables.
  • Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and effective implementation.
  • Participate in customer research activities such as usability testing and observational studies.
  • Stay current on industry trends, innovative design practices, and usability standards.
  • Communicate design concepts clearly and effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.

Bolded must-have skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of interaction and UI design principles.
  • 5+ years of experience designing interactive digital experiences, preferably within financial services.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and handle multiple requests while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and conceptual thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency with design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to articulate ideas and solutions clearly in both verbal and written formats.
  • Experience with design systems and visual identity standards.

Bolded nice-to-have skills

  • Prior experience working on banking or financial digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with design system management or brand refresh projects.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
