UI Designer – Banking

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a UI Designer – Banking. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the visual and interaction design for a major rebranding initiative, contributing to the future of digital banking experiences.
Responsibilities
- Define and promote a compelling vision for the company’s digital standards and design system within the banking sector.
- Develop and maintain visual design frameworks aligned with the company’s brand refresh and digital experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into engaging, user-centered UI designs.
- Lead design reviews, iterate based on feedback, and ensure quality across all deliverables.
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and effective implementation.
- Participate in customer research activities such as usability testing and observational studies.
- Stay current on industry trends, innovative design practices, and usability standards.
- Communicate design concepts clearly and effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.
Bolded must-have skills
- Comprehensive understanding of interaction and UI design principles.
- 5+ years of experience designing interactive digital experiences, preferably within financial services.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and handle multiple requests while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and conceptual thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency with design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to articulate ideas and solutions clearly in both verbal and written formats.
- Experience with design systems and visual identity standards.

- Prior experience working on banking or financial digital platforms.
- Familiarity with design system management or brand refresh projects.
