Unica Campaign Developer (SQL & SAS)

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Unica Campaign Developer (SQL & SAS) who will support the client’s Campaign Operation team with the migration and modernization of our Unica environments. This candidate will play a key part in converting existing SAS campaign codes to Unica, as well as assisting in the integration of Unica Campaign and Interact onto a unified platform. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Unica Campaign, campaign building, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the migration of marketing campaigns from SAS to Unica Campaign.
- Assist in rebuilding offers, segments, flowcharts, and scheduling logic in the new Unica environment.
- Validate and optimize flowcharts and campaigns to ensure business requirements and performance standards are met.
- Audit, migrate, and optimize campaign components (offers, mail lists, SQL queries, user roles, etc.) for consolidation onto a unified Unica environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the migration process.
- Partner with marketing and IT teams to ensure smooth transition and minimal downtime.
- Document processes, decisions, and configurations to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
Desired Skill Set:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM/Unica Campaign (designing, building, deploying campaigns, templates) – ability to code in UNICA
- 5+ years of SQL and data source integration within Unica.
- Experience with SAS campaign codes
- Ability to rebuild offers, segments, flowcharts, and scheduling logic in the new Unica environment.
- Ability to Document processes, decisions, and configurations to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity. (Microsoft Office)
Nice To Have:
- Knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
- Previous experience in campaign design
