Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a UX Designer (Wealth Management/ Retail Banking) who will support the design and delivery of engaging digital experiences for the client’s Wealth Management clients and advisors. This candidate will be working closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams and will contribute to the development of pages, components, and design assets across a range of web and mobile platforms. The successful candidate will help bring ideas to life by applying visual and interaction design best practices while ensuring alignment with brand and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and updating UI designs, wireframes, and mockups for web and mobile platforms.
  • Prepare production-ready assets and design specifications for development.
  • Implement updates based on established design systems, templates, and brand guidelines.
    Brand & Accessibility Standards

  • Maintain consistency across digital platforms by adhering to the client’s design systems and style guides.
  • Ensure visual assets meet accessibility requirements (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and comply with brand standards.
  • Source and treat images by brand guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, content creators, and developers to deliver polished user interfaces.
  • Participate in design reviews and team meetings, contributing ideas and solutions.

Desired Skill Set:

  • 2+ years of experience in Production design and UX/UI experience
  • Education and/or relevant training in digital product design, interaction design, and/or UX/UI (certifications/bootcamps)
  • Strong understanding of UX and UI best practices, including UI design patterns, usability heuristics, and interaction design principles.
  • Knowledgeable about designing for digital platforms, including mobile, desktop, native, responsive, and adaptive design.
  • Proficient in Figma (e.g., using assets and libraries, layout and pixel grids, building and using reusable components, prototyping) and Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

Nice To Have:

  • Previous banking experience working in a servicing platform (Wealth or retail banking)
  • Familiarity with basic UX research practices or user testing.
  • Exposure to the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Interest in serving high-net-worth clients and learning about their digital needs
