Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Vulnerability Management Security Analyst. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support day-to-day vulnerability management and compliance activities across application and infrastructure environments, working closely with technical teams to ensure timely remediation of security vulnerabilities while providing exposure to new technologies and industry best practices.

Pay rate range (CAD): $63.91/hr – $76.69/hr

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate intake, analysis, triage, and tracking of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Support remediation activities by collaborating with application and infrastructure teams.
  • Maintain accurate vulnerability and issue records in tracking tools.
  • Monitor remediation progress, identify risks or delays, and escalate as needed.
  • Develop and support vulnerability metrics, reporting, and dashboards, including dashboard creation.
  • Provide operational support for audit or control testing activities with limited exposure.
  • Support change management activities, including tracking exception requests and approvals.
  • Prepare concise, fact-based reports for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Exercise judgment to diagnose and resolve issues within established guidelines.
  • Independently handle complex tasks, including unique situations and broader responsibilities as assigned.
  • Drive compliance initiatives and support broader team or project goals.

Desired Skill-Set

  • 4–6 years of experience in vulnerability management, IT security operations, or technology risk and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes and security concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience creating and maintaining queries for tracking or reporting purposes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ServiceNow platform.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
  • Exposure to audit or control testing activities.
  • Knowledge of COBIT framework (not a deal breaker).
  • Ability to understand and build queries.
