Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Coordinator – Expert. This position involves leading complex sales support initiatives, managing end-to-end event planning and execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams within a dynamic asset management environment. The role offers an engaging opportunity to refine your project management skills while contributing to impactful distribution programs.
Pay rate range (CAD): $54.35/hr – $65.22/hr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end content development, including quarterly publications and online content updates
- Develop and maintain virtual sales materials tailored to target audiences
- Support investor relations by preparing portfolio manager commentaries and client-focused resources
- Contribute to the strategic planning of events, identifying opportunities for program enhancement and ROI optimization
- Manage integrated project timelines from inception through post-event evaluations
- Coordinate with stakeholders across Marketing, Compliance, Digital, and Product teams to finalize event materials and logistics
- Oversee event execution, including venue management, registration, vendor relationships, and onsite logistics
- Ensure all event-related activities adhere to budgets, invoice reconciliation, and audit controls
- Track event metrics, collect attendee feedback, and prepare post-event effectiveness reports
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to support smooth execution
- Continuously seek process improvements to enhance event quality and operational efficiency
Desired Skill-Set
- Seven or more years of project management and event planning experience in financial services or banking
- Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, project management, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and event technology platforms such as Cvent and Formsite
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting virtually and in person
- Ability to influence, build consensus, and work independently under tight deadlines
- Adaptability to evolving priorities, ambiguity, and changing responsibilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on business results
Nice to Have
- Experience in asset management or investment industry
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
- Exposure to virtual or hybrid event formats
- Ability to manage vendor contracts and negotiate solutions
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and content management systems
