Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Technical Solution Designer/Architect – Banking. This position involves leading the development of comprehensive application architectures within the banking industry, working closely with senior stakeholders to present and justify design solutions, and ensuring seamless system integration across complex ecosystem components. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to major modernization initiatives, including core banking upgrades and UI portal development, within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to develop end-to-end solution architectures aligned with project goals and banking standards
- Present technical solutions clearly and confidently to senior executives and leadership teams
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application systems incorporating Microservices, Java, Vue.js, and cloud technologies like OpenShift
- Ensure integration and interdependencies across front-to-back office systems are robust and efficient
- Contribute to the full SDLC process, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Identify potential system risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the implementation phase
Desired Skill-Set
- Extensive experience as a Solution Designer in the banking or financial services sector
- Deep understanding of system interdependencies and application integration principles
- Strong knowledge of Java, Microservices architecture, OpenShift, and cloud platforms
- Proven ability to design scalable, resilient, and user-centric solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, specifically Vue.js, is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience working on major banking modernization projects
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for back-office portals
- Prior experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with additional cloud services and container orchestration tools
- Previous exposure to multi-disciplinary architectural frameworks
