Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst – Payments. The ideal candidate will support critical payment platforms, collaborating across technical teams and stakeholders to drive seamless payment operations and system enhancements.
Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr – $86.96/hr
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements (BRDs) and solution specifications
- Participate in daily stand-ups and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment
- Review product functionality and maintain documentation within Confluence
- Engage with business stakeholders to plan, validate, and prioritize requirements
- Create and manage user stories, user journeys, and design documentation
- Work closely with solution architects and development teams to define, refine, and implement solutions
- Coordinate between business, development, and QA teams to ensure clarity and complete requirement coverage
- Track project progress, support QA testing phases, and communicate updates effectively
- Maintain and update documentation in Jira, Confluence, and Visio
- Develop reports using Power BI; SQL knowledge is a plus but not required
- Demonstrate strong understanding of real-time money movement (RTR) concepts and cross-border payment workflows
Desired Skill-Set
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in payment processing systems, SME level
- Deep understanding of cross-border payments and real-time money movement (RTR) systems
- Hands-on experience with wire processing systems
- Familiarity with payment domain concepts including hybrid and address change functionalities
- Exposure to stakeholder management involving KYC, AML, fraud teams, and external partners
- Basic knowledge of ISO standards related to payments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
