Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Compliance Data & Reporting Analyst (Capital Markets) and offers a chance to contribute to critical compliance projects while gaining exposure to senior leadership.

Pay rate range (CAD): $57.34/hr – $68.81/hr

Responsibilities

  • Support daily business-as-usual operations related to AML compliance, including outreach for documentation and follow-up with colleagues
  • Maintain comprehensive and detailed documentation, reports, and investigative work to support AML processes
  • Assist in audit activities, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and preparing necessary documentation
  • Utilize PowerBI and data analytics tools to automate workflows, enhance reporting, and present data insights effectively
  • Bridge data analytics with reporting functions, including Excel documentation and logical process explanation
  • Collaborate with internal teams for transaction monitoring, employing chasing and employment validation tasks as needed
  • Participate in ongoing projects, potentially involving automation and process improvement initiatives

Desired Skill-Set

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Institutions or capital market environments
  • Strong understanding of securities types and brokerage operations
  • Expertise in AML functions, remediation, and investigative procedures
  • Skilled in detailed documentation, report writing, and audit processes
  • Proficient in PowerBI and data analytics, with the ability to support process automation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with customer data and connecting with internal teams

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in automation projects involving PowerBI or similar tools
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and AML standards
  • Familiarity with BAU processes supporting AML and securities operations
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced team environment and engage with senior leadership
