Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an AML Operations Analyst in Banking. This position involves supporting anti-money laundering processes within a dynamic team environment, ensuring timely processing of high-volume transactions, and maintaining compliance standards. The role offers a stable contract opportunity with potential for extension and career growth in a renowned banking organization.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $24.88/hr
Responsibilities:
- Accurately onboard Web Business Banking applications onto mainframe and billing systems within established SLAs.
- Respond promptly to email requests from business partners, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Input and verify negotiated fees into billing systems, adhering to all billing procedures.
- Reprocess rejected items in billing spreadsheets efficiently, ensuring error-free processing.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in managing queues and meeting SLAs and performance targets.
- Escalate routine issues appropriately and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them swiftly.
- Support implementation and day-to-day management of cash management services such as wire payments and electronic funds transfer.
- Provide excellent communication to internal partners and support continuous improvement for customer experience.
Desired Skill-Set:
- 1-2 years of AML experience or operations experience.
- Strong understanding of AML compliance protocols.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Typing speed of at least 60-65 WPM.
- Experience with administrative tasks and back-office operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Banking experience or previous employment within a financial institution.
- Knowledge of host applications and C3 systems.
