Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Project Delivery Lead. This position involves overseeing a dynamic portfolio of reporting and operational initiatives within the Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, and Investment Banking sectors. The successful candidate will drive organizational efficiency, establish delivery frameworks, and support modernization efforts, playing a pivotal role in operational transparency and performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Support and organize a broad portfolio of delivery initiatives across banking applications and reporting functions
- Collaborate with leadership to establish project intake, prioritization, governance, and portfolio tracking processes
- Lead multiple concurrent initiatives focused on reporting, analytics, operational metrics, and business improvement
- Operationalize reporting requests related to financial visibility, KPIs, SLAs, processing metrics, and dashboards
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into structured plans and actionable work streams
- Identify delivery risks, dependencies, blockers, and develop mitigation strategies
- Create and maintain portfolio-level reporting with clear status indicators and escalation plans
- Coordinate with business, technology, analytics, and reporting teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Evolve delivery methodologies, balancing waterfall and agile approaches to suit project needs
- Support modernization efforts involving reporting platforms, analytics tools, and data transformation projects
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and operational reporting practices
- Operate as a trusted delivery lead, independently managing ambiguity and driving outcomes
Desired Skill-Set
- 8+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio delivery within financial services
- Prior experience at a senior or director level scope managing enterprise initiatives
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to lead delivery independently, not as a task checker
- Analytical mindset with strong business analysis capabilities
- Experience supporting reporting, analytics, and operational improvement projects
- Skilled in project governance, prioritization, and executive reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Self-starter with ownership mentality and proactive approach
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
Nice to Have
- Experience within Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, or Investment Banking sectors
- Familiarity with reporting ecosystems such as Power BI, Databricks, or operational analytics platforms
- Exposure to data modernization and AI-enabled initiatives
- Experience operating within hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models
- Oversight of production support and BAU operational activities
