Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Operational Risk Coordinator. This position involves supporting a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Operational Non-Financial Risk (ONFR) program framework, including documentation, process development, and department-wide adoption tracking. The role is ideal for someone experienced in risk, compliance, or project management seeking to contribute to critical operational initiatives.
Pay rate range (CAD): $40.58/hr – $48.70/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform recurring and ad hoc administrative tasks to support the Operational Risk team.
- Maintain, document, and update ONFR program frameworks, processes, and controls.
- Track and report on program adoption and usage across diverse departments.
- Organize and manage large volumes of risk, controls, and compliance-related data.
- Prepare detailed reports, trackers, and presentation materials utilizing Excel and standard tools.
- Support quality assurance reviews of program documentation as needed.
- Assist in analysis and reporting tasks where initial requirements may be unclear.
Desired Skill-Set
- Strong Excel skills, including managing and analyzing extensive datasets.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services.
- Background in Operational Risk Management, Compliance, or Project Management.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Solid documentation and information management skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working at BMO or similar financial institutions.
- Testing or Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
- Effective planning skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and developing analytical approaches for reporting.
