Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Junior Data Analyst – Excel, Power BI & MIS Reporting (Banking). This position involves supporting business management teams in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement within a collaborative environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $32.61/hr – $39.13/hr
Responsibilities
- Support B2B portfolio by delivering accurate data analysis and reporting solutions.
- Validate and analyze large datasets to ensure data integrity and support business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain reports using Excel, Power BI, and other MS Office tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and document findings.
- Assist in process improvements and automation of MIS reports.
- Document processes and ensure consistent reporting standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to provide insights and support ongoing business needs.
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar data analysis or reporting role.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven expertise in data validation and analysis for reporting purposes.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel; Power BI experience is essential.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to work with large datasets and focus on data accuracy.
- Eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and business processes.
- Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
- Business acumen with the ability to connect technical insights to business context.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MIS reporting and automation.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial industry.
