Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst – Fixed Income. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support frontline trading operations within the Fixed Income Technology team, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment that combines business analysis, automation, and data analytics.
Pay rate range (CAD): $36.17/hr – $43.41/hr
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from front office stakeholders
- Support and maintain fixed income trading applications such as TOMS, Broadway, Axe, etc.
- Contribute to automation projects to streamline trading workflows
- Assist with data analytics initiatives to improve decision-making capabilities
- Partner with technology teams to implement system enhancements and troubleshoot issues
- Support project-based work and routine business-as-usual activities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skill-Set
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of application-based environments, especially in financial services
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Critical thinking with the ability to problem-solve quickly
- Ability to learn new systems and processes effectively
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with fixed income applications such as Bloomberg, Broadway, or Axe
- Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python
- Front Office experience in trading environments
- Familiarity with automation tools and data analytics techniques
