Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Banking Representative. This position involves providing critical banking support related to deposits and payments, ensuring smooth transactions, and maintaining high-quality stakeholder interactions. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team within a reputable financial institution.
Pay rate range (CAD): $22.67/hr – $27.21/hr
Responsibilities
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
- Process and support deposit and payment transactions, including cheque and electronic transaction handling, remote deposit, and account monitoring.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
- Support change management initiatives by executing and sustaining process improvements.
- Assist in quality control activities and provide training to team members when necessary.
- Organize and review work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Execute routine service requests, transactions, and queries within established service level agreements.
- Reconcile documentation and identify discrepancies, escalating issues as needed.
- Follow documented policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of new processes and system improvements.
- Maintain an understanding of regulatory requirements and associated risks, ensuring adherence.
- Handle complex tasks within established rules and limits, making informed decisions and escalating when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
Desired Skill-Set
- Bilingual in French and English (reading, writing, speaking)
- 1–2 years of experience in an analytical or communication-focused role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe PDF, Outlook, and other relevant systems
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
