Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Manager, Customer Segments. This position focuses on developing strategic partnerships to grow youth and student segments through impactful collaborations, including campus initiatives and youth-focused organizations. You will lead the creation and execution of partnership strategies aimed at increasing customer acquisition, engagement, and long-term loyalty across domestic and international student populations, as well as broader youth audiences. In this role, your insights and leadership will shape how we engage with young customers both on campus and beyond, fostering relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, and key ecosystem partners.
Pay rate range (CAD): $47.10/hr – $56.52/hr
Responsibilities
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with post-secondary institutions, including student associations and international student offices, as well as youth organizations and ecosystem partners
• Design and implement acquisition and engagement programs across campus and external channels in collaboration with internal teams
• Lead partnership strategies around key milestones such as admissions, arrival, back-to-school, and early career transitions
• Develop and oversee sponsorships, co-branded initiatives, and scalable partnership programs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Branch teams to deliver seamless, compliant customer experiences
• Identify new growth opportunities through emerging partnerships, channels, and community ecosystems
• Analyze performance metrics to optimize acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine partnership approaches and strengthen positioning
• Prepare and present partnership proposals, business cases, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
• Oversee partner onboarding, payments, and expense management
• Launch targeted campaigns for the student segment, including liaising with senior partners and delivering compelling storytelling through visual presentations
Desired Skill-Set
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in strategy, partnerships, consulting, or business development
• Proven success in building and scaling external partnerships that drive measurable growth
• Experience or understanding of youth, student, and newcomer segments, including domestic and international student needs
• Strong stakeholder management and influence skills across internal and external environments
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
• Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Sound risk awareness and judgment in business decision-making
Nice to Have
• Experience working with post-secondary institutions, youth ecosystems, or community organizations
• Background in banking, financial services, or customer growth environments
