Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual-Collections Agent. This position involves managing inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service to current and prospective clients, and supporting the growth of the business through strong relationship building. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $23.19/hr

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers to address account issues and collections.
  • Provide accurate information about banking products and services.
  • Maintain high-quality customer interactions, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Document customer interactions accurately and thoroughly in systems.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and refer customers to relevant banking partners.
  • Adhere to operational policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence.
  • Escalate high-risk or complex transactions as needed.
  • Meet quality and performance metrics focused on customer satisfaction and collection effectiveness.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Prior experience in collections or financial customer service environments.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with customer data management and documentation.

Nice to Have

  • Previous banking experience.
  • Familiarity with collections-specific software or customer relationship management systems.
  • Bilingualism (additional languages).
  • Experience working within a call centre environment.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, or local banking regulations.
