Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a C# .Net Trading Developer- Banking. In this position, you will drive the development and enhancement of high-performance trading solutions within a global electronic FX platform, ensuring seamless data distribution, low-latency processing, and system scalability. This contract offers the opportunity to influence critical trading infrastructure, support migration initiatives, and collaborate with a dynamic team operating independently and cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust software components for electronic trading systems
- Develop low-latency trading features using C# .NET, optimizing for performance and scalability
- Create and execute comprehensive test cases to ensure system reliability
- Lead the migration of backend utility services from vendor-supported to in-house systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple applications to coordinate migration activities
- Support production environments through root cause analysis and issue resolution
- Address business requirements independently, proposing and implementing technical solutions
- Mentor junior developers to foster growth and knowledge sharing
Desired Skill-Set
- 7+ years of professional C# .NET development experience
- Expertise in optimizing software performance and latency reduction
- Familiarity with the FIX protocol
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to ask questions, explain ideas clearly, and work collaboratively
- Proficient multi-threaded programming skills
- Solid understanding of financial markets and electronic trading systems
Nice to Have
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Familiarity with Broadway FX
- Experience with Java
- Previous experience in financial institutions
