Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Junior Power BI Analyst / Developer. This position involves developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, supporting stakeholder reporting needs, and optimizing existing data solutions to drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Pay rate range (CAD): $39.75/hr – $47.70/hr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models supporting KPI and QPR reporting
  • Analyze and optimize existing Power BI solutions for scalability and improved user experience
  • Design, troubleshoot, and improve Power Automate workflows for reporting and operational efficiencies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders, providing recommendations and managing expectations on scope and timelines
  • Monitor report performance, data quality, and refresh processes to ensure reliability and accuracy
  • Support prioritization and delivery of reporting enhancements and new data requests

Desired Skill-Set

  • 1+ years' experience supporting executive-level reporting and KPI dashboards
  • Postsecondary education (not necessarily relevant)
  • Knowledge of data governance, reporting practices, and BI standards
  • Advanced Power BI skills: data modeling, DAX, Power Query, report design, performance tuning
  • Strong experience with Power Automate and workflow automation
  • Ability to analyze and improve existing reporting solutions and data flows
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions, influence decision-making, and manage expectations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Experience managing projects from requirements to implementation (asset)

Nice to Have

  • Financial services or large-scale enterprise reporting experience
  • Relevant postsecondary education
