Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. PCO- Banking. This contract opportunity involves overseeing project scheduling, risk management, financial tracking, and stakeholder communication within a large-scale initiative focused on mandatory remediation items. The position offers a chance to contribute to critical business projects with long-term potential and a dynamic work environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $62.62/hr – $75.14/hr

Responsibilities

  • Manage RAID log: ingest risk/action/issue/decision items, maintain currency and coherency
  • Prepare and consolidate reporting materials, including weekly status reports and ad-hoc requests
  • Track and consolidate project interdependencies across workstreams and external entities
  • Monitor and analyze monthly cost forecasts, track actual spends, and report variances
  • Maintain project change control records, including PCR lists and related activities
  • Organize, track, and log required project artifacts; assist with compliance and delivery reviews
  • Track scheduling tasks, milestones, and deliverables; escalate slippages for corrective action
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Desired Skill-Set

  • 10+ years of experience in project monitoring and control activities (schedule management, reporting, RAID, financial management)
  • Extensive experience managing large projects or programs
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • Knowledge of project methodologies (PDLC, Agile, Hybrid)
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, SharePoint
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong time and priority management skills
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to adapt
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and limited supervision

Nice to Have

  • Experience within banking or financial institutions
  • PMP certification
