Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Banking Operations Analyst. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to HR functions, disability management, banking, and financial industry operations. The role involves supporting day-to-day operational tasks, working collaboratively within a team, and developing valuable skill sets in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and translate data from spreadsheets and source documents with high accuracy.
- Input and verify data such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills into internal systems.
- Respond to inquiries from managers and employees regarding operational data.
- Identify, locate, and correct data entry errors; escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of activities and completed work for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contacts to ensure data integrity.
- Participate in daily huddles and team meetings to coordinate tasks and share updates.
- Manage personal workload efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Desired Skill-Set
- Bilingual in French and English (verbal and written).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with computer applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to analyze data and interpret spreadsheet information accurately.
Nice to Have
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros, V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Previous experience working within the banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with policy documentation and compliance processes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
