Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst – QRM/Treasury Platform. This position involves analyzing and reconciling large datasets, facilitating vendor integration, and supporting the implementation of Treasury management solutions. The role offers a long-term contract with opportunities for extension and growth within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, reconcile, and investigate large datasets to facilitate business requirements and decision-making.
- Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to ALM, liquidity management, FTP, and SIRR.
- Lead requirements workshops and produce artifacts such as data flow diagrams, process models, and message mapping documentation.
- Support testing efforts by defining test scenarios, triaging defects, and ensuring requirements traceability.
- Implement and support the QRM platform, aligning business objectives with platform capabilities for Treasury pillars.
- Develop and maintain data lineage, catalogs, and governance artifacts to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Create detailed data and process flow diagrams using tools such as Visio, Confluence, and similar applications.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis across large datasets and demonstrate an understanding of big data concepts.
- Author user stories and acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence to facilitate agile delivery.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven ability to translate complex business rules into detailed technology requirements with traceability.
- Strong diagramming skills and experience creating data/process flow diagrams.
- Expertise in SQL and performing data analysis on large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with data integration, testing methodologies, and process documentation.
- Solid understanding of financial products, balance sheet management, and interest rate risk principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of APIs, databases, cloud environments, and data governance frameworks.
- Experience implementing Treasury platforms such as ALM, liquidity management, stress testing, or forecasting systems.
Nice-to-Have
- Coding experience or familiarity with scripting languages.
- Hands-on knowledge of QRM or other ALM vendor solutions.
