Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Data Analyst. This position involves supporting a large-scale system migration by performing parallel testing, data validation, and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth transition with minimal business impact.
Responsibilities
- Support parallel testing efforts between legacy and new systems
- Analyze and validate data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies and reporting gaps
- Review mapping documents and develop SQL queries to analyze data relationships
- Trace data sources using query tools and validate outputs
- Document findings, escalate issues, and collaborate with project teams for resolution
- Participate in meetings to provide insights on data inconsistencies and system behavior
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 8+ years of SQL experience
- Proficiency with SQL window functions
- General reporting and data analysis experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in change management and collaborative environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with mapping UAT / ATL
- Business analyst or stakeholder engagement experience
- Knowledge of system integration processes
- Familiarity with project documentation and mapping review
