Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a HR Specialist – Compensation & Benefits/Workday. This position involves supporting key projects related to benefits, pension, or HR operations, with a focus on stakeholder collaboration, process improvement, and data analysis to drive organizational success.
Pay rate range (CAD): $72.46/hr – $86.95/hr
Responsibilities
- Support project planning, coordination, and management to ensure timely delivery of initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather and analyze requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and tracking tools to monitor project progress
- Conduct research and data analysis to identify process improvements and solutions
- Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and follow-up actions
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity
- Manage member follow-ups, address inquiries, and resolve issues related to benefits or pension programs
- Support compliance and audit activities as needed
- Participate in shadowing and onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular status updates on deliverables
Desired Skill-Set
- University degree with 5+ years of experience in HR, benefits, pension, or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Excel and project management tools (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors)
- Experience with process improvement and stakeholder management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proven problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Attention to detail and high level of organization
Nice to Have
- Experience working in financial services or banking sectors
- Knowledge of pension or benefit plans
- Previous experience in a client-facing, contractual environment
- Call center or customer service experience
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
