Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an IT Project Manager/EDF. This position involves managing critical components of a significant enterprise initiative, collaborating closely with multiple teams and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, with a focus on driving operational excellence and supporting strategic transformation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to stay on track
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and reporting variances
- Coach, mentor, and collaborate with team members to promote continuous improvement and high performance
- Assist in prioritizing tasks and managing deliverables to ensure milestones are achieved
- Support the development of project documentation and status reports for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in a financial or corporate environment
- PMP certification
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong proficiency with MS Project and MS Office (minimum 5 years)
- Hands-on experience managing project financials (minimum 3 years)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working as a project manager at similar financial institutions
- Familiarity with the Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF)
- Experience managing large projects with budgets exceeding $5M
- Knowledge of enterprise technology infrastructure and governance
