Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a ITAM Business Systems Analyst – SAM/HAM. This position focuses on supporting the bank's ServiceNow Asset and Configuration Management capabilities, ensuring effective asset governance, data quality, and process improvements within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements for ServiceNow Asset Management and CMDB.
- Support enhancement and governance of Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, and CMDB processes.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for asset lifecycle and operational workflows.
- Assist with designing ServiceNow enhancements, including user stories, process flows, and testing.
- Work with CMDB administrators to improve CI accuracy, relationships, and data governance.
- Align CMDB practices with ITIL standards and best practices.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and operational metrics within ServiceNow.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, working with technical teams on remediation.
- Create detailed documentation, including process maps, user guides, and operational procedures.
Desired Skill-Set
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise as a Business Systems Analyst with ServiceNow platform solutions.
- Strong understanding of IT Asset Management concepts and processes.
- Hands-on or functional knowledge of ServiceNow SAM Pro, HAM Pro, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
- Experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and data quality improvements.
- Excellent requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including user stories and acceptance testing.
Nice to Have
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or related certifications.
- Experience supporting large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Knowledge of CMDB health metrics, reconciliation rules, IRE, and CI lifecycle management.
- Experience with integrations affecting asset and configuration data.
- Understanding of enterprise technology environments and IT operations processes.
