Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Junior Project Manager-Cloud Migration/Infrastructure who will coordinate cloud migration and modernization projects, manage project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and stakeholder communications, while working closely with cloud architects, infrastructure, security, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
Pay rate range (CAD): $55.00/hr – $58.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cloud migration and modernization projects, primarily focusing on Azure infrastructure
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and RAID logs
- Manage stakeholder communications and expectations effectively
- Collaborate closely with cloud architects, infrastructure, security, and delivery teams
- Support project execution according to defined scope, schedule, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and best practices in project delivery
- Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes
Desired Skill-Set
- 3–5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager
- Exposure to cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure (AZ-900 is an asset)
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and security
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Effective stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Azure cloud migrations or infrastructure modernization projects
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITSM processes
- Background working within large enterprise or regulated industries such as banking or financial services
